The Department for Complex Development of Resort Industry and Tourism in Krasnodar Territory (hereinafter "The Department") is a branch of the executive authority of Krasnodar Territory in charge of implementation of the national policy specific to complex development of resort industry and tourism in Krasnodar Territory pursuant to the standing legislation.

The activities of the Department are governed by the Constitution of the Russian Federation, the federal legislation and other laws of the Russian Federation, the statutory acts effective in the Krasnodar Territory and the present Regulation.

The status, structure, staff listing and qualifications of Deputy Heads of the Department and other positions of the state civil service of Krasnodar Territory are approved by the Head of Krasnodar Territory Administration.

The Department is subordinated to the Head of Krasnodar Territory Administration and the Deputy Head of Krasnodar Territory Administration in charge of resort industry and tourism.

The Department performs its functions by interaction with territorial branches of federal executive bodies, executive bodies of the governmental authorities of Krasnodar Territory, local authorities, organizations and citizens.

The Department enjoys the rights of a legal entity and is entitled to acquire property and personal non-property rights. The Department is subject to liability and may appear in court.

The Department maintains business accounts with the Department for Finances, Budgeting and Control of Krasnodar Territory, has the official seal bearing the coat of arms of the Russian Federation and the name of the Department as well as all the appropriate seals, stamps and letterheads.

The Department activities are financed from the budget of the Territory.

The Department property lodged with it terms of operating management shall be deemed the property of Krasnodar Territory.

The Department possesses, uses and disposes of the lodged property pursuant to the goals of establishment according to the standing legislation.
